CHURCH LANDING

A perfect wedding day dawned for Betsy and Jay. Maddox was very excited that his parents were getting married in a few hours.

Betsy wanted to incorporate a lot of colorful flowers for herself and her wedding party. We decided on using green roses and peonies in shades from light pink to deepest raspberry. The bouquet was accented with bupelerum. The maids were in black gowns and the hot early summer colors showed vividly against the black background.

he ceremony site was ready. The chairs were decorated with wide hot pink ribbons accented with a perfect rose. Our garden arbor was decorated with knots of wedding flowers and greenery. The ballroom was aglow with vases of the beautiful colors Becky had chosen. The only thing missing was Maddox. As the bride posed for pictures we all saw the happy pup adorned with his bow and flowers come barreling from the hotel heading straight for Betsy’s white gown. Everyone held their breath but Maddox was a perfect gentleman and stopped short of Betsy’s train as she leaned down for a kiss from the jubilant pup.

As you can imagine, Maddox stole the show but his parents did not care. They were both too happy and in love to see anything but each other.
