JOANNE AND DIRK
GUNSTOCK MOUNTAIN
Joanne wanted an organic look to the bouquets she and her maids would carry to the top of Gunstock Mountain. She chose gerbera daisies, delphinium, iris, and oncidium orchids with variegated pittisporum for greenery designed into a “just gathered” collection of flowers.
The top of the mountain was decorated with random collections of hay bales and plants scattered among drifts of petals that actually guided the guests to seating and the ceremony site. The mountain top came alive with color and romance.
Down at the base of the mountain in the lodge, Lynn and Leslie had designed wreaths of berry laden blueberry foliage accented with blue delphinium around lanterns on each of the guest’s tables.
A wreath graced the fireplace and was reflected at the entrance by a garland of bells O’Ireland, delphinium and peach gerberas. The lodge became a natural, rustic but elegant ballroom for Joanne and Dirk’s enchanting wedding celebrations. |
